We just wanted to take the time to congratulate Australian singer Kylie Minogue and her fiancé Galavant actor Joshua Sasse on their engagement which was announced in the U.K. newspaper The Daily Telegraph last Friday, which is a rather traditional way to announce an engagement.
The posting reads:
“The engagement is announced between Joshua, son of the late Dominic Sasse and of Mary Heale (née Macauley), of Herefordshire, and Kylie, eldest daughter of Ronald and Carol Minogue, of Melbourne, Australia.”
While the announcement ad in the paper made everything official, fans had speculated at least since the night before that the couple had just gotten engaged as Minogue was seen on the red carpet at the NME Awards with a mysterious new diamond ring on her finger. The ring appears to be an emerald cut halo engagement ring.
Shortly after the announcement, the couple posted a photo of a typewriter thanking their fans for their well-wishes.
